Who I Am

My Life as a Hair Dresser

When I was in high school, I was the go to girl to get your hair done.  I was pretty good with no training, but after I graduated the class of 75' I went straight into cosmetology school and after graduation in Nashville, Tenn. I started out in a well known salon where all the country music stars went.  That experience was great and lead me to understand that I wanted hair styling as my life long en-devour.  I moved to Charleston, SC shortly after and I opened Linda Brinkley Hair Salon.  During the 25 years I owned the salon I developed my own Line of Linda Brinkley Hair Care products and produced, directed and starred in 10 videos on how to do different haircut and styles (Linda Brinkley Hair Cutting 101) which I sold around the world.  I have traveled being a platform artist for RedKen company and taught hair styling and coloring as I am a color specialist that has enjoyed the distinction of being a three-time graduate of the Roy Peters Color Academy.  I've found myself snipping and styling the strands of local area newscasters as well as the governor's wife, Jenny Sanford.  We became very close and I was interviewed what it was like being her hair stylist by The Post and Courier.  After 25 years I sold my salon and took time to find my inner self.  I have opened a new salon within Cirque Salon Studios located at 946 Orleans Road, Charleston, SC. 29407.  I design hair to the clients face and life style in a intimate setting with scented candles with great customer service.  I focus my energy on you because perfection takes loving care.

Linda Brinkley

Last week I came to Linda for the very first time. I was recommended by a friend of mine and I remember being so nervous upon my arrival. I am very particular about my hair and how I wanted it - styled, not chopped and that is exactly what Linda did for me. She was absolutely amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and really listened to what I wanted, we really bonded. All-in-all it was a great experience and I have already set my next appointment. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a salon they can trust!

I have tried many other salons and none of  them come close to Linda Brinkley Hair Salon. Linda is amazing. She is the only stylist that does my highlight just the way i want it and has fixed my hair several times when a different salon didn't do what I asked for. I've learned my lesson and I wont go any where else, you will never walk out feeling unsatisfied. Thanks Linda.

Thank u Linda! My hair came out great! When I walked in I was a little nervous because I've had a bad haircut experience, but she listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. My highlights also came out great! Anyone who has ever had a bad experience with a stylist with either color or haircuts go to Linda she will do a awesome job! Thanks again Linda!

Guys, if you're looking for a great haircut, I highly recommend Linda. She has a great attention to detail and will really go beyond the normal treatment to make sure everything is clean - the sideburns, the neck and so on.
I've had her cut my hair in the past few times also and she's been great. And, my wife is also very pleased with the results, so, everybody wins. :)

Why Me?

It’s hard to know if you have a personal connection with a Hair Stylist until you have actually had a session with them. However, you can often get a sense of whether you connect by reading their profile, looking at a photo of them, exploring their website and perhaps even asking them a question or two prior to your session.

If you don’t feel a connection or you still have reservations, then keep looking for an alternative.

Keep in mind that you may really click with a Hair Stylist, while your friend may think they are absolute rubbish. It really does come down to personal choice and ‘fit’.

Let me be your Personal Choice.
